In October, Medical Hire was thrilled to host our very first Leeds Film and TV Networking Social in collaboration with the British Film Designers Guild (BFDG).
The event was created to connect Northern creatives in the Film and TV art department, along with local suppliers, creating a space for fresh collaborations, shared insights, and engaging conversations about the latest industry trends.
Held at the vibrant Waterlane Boathouse in Leeds city centre, the atmosphere was perfect for a casual and fun evening.
Attendees enjoyed a welcome drink and delicious pizzas, making it easy for everyone to dive into networking and get acquainted with new (and old) faces from the region’s creative community. We were also delighted to welcome several recent Film and TV graduates who are just starting out in the industry. It was the perfect opportunity for them to connect with and learn from seasoned art department professionals.
The feedback from the event has been fantastic, and we’re already looking forward to the possibility of hosting another Leeds Film and TV gathering in the future.
