Medical Hire were recently on-set of Yorkshire-based soap Emmerdale again, participating in an incident involving long-standing character Paddy Kirk.

In a much anticipated episode which aired on 9th July 2015, Paddy is left fighting for his life following an act of revenge by Robert Sugden. During an inspection, Paddy, who has discovered that Robert is cheating on his wife, accidentally falls into a corn silo. Instead of helping him to climb out, Robert switches the grain bin on and leaves Paddy to suffocate.
Thankfully, Paddy is quickly discovered by Andy, who calls for help and Paddy is rushed to hospital.
For this storyline, Medical Hire provided A&E equipment including a trolley and head block, as well as a bed and obs machine for the hospital room.
