The team at Medical Hire were unbelievably excited to be involved in filming of the sequel to movie blockbuster Trainspotting which is released in cinemas today.
Over 20 years since the release of the original film, T2 Trainspotting continues the story of a group of drug addicts based in Edinburgh. Featuring 4 out of the 5 original cast members, Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller and Robert Carlyle’s characters are reunited for the first time in years and continue their journeys together.
Medical Hire were absolutely delighted to be asked to supply medical equipment for the filming of the much-awaited sequel and were thrilled to be present on-set during filming of the medical scenes to support the cast and crew with advice and direction.
Some of the equipment supplied by Medical Hire included A&E equipment for scenes with Ewan McGregor’s character Renton, and specialist ICU equipment for dramatic scenes involving Robert Carlyle’s character Begbie.
