Emmerdale’s resident badboy, Robert Sugden, recently got his comeuppance when he was mysteriously shot by an unseen assailant.

Renowned for making enemy after enemy and leaving a trail of devastation in his path, Robert sees the tables turn when a bullet is suddenly released into the night and hits him in the chest.
Robert is rushed to hospital in a critical condition where he flatlines on his way to surgery. His life hangs in the balance while the investigation begins to find out who shot him.
