Created by Shameless writer, Paula Abbott, No Offence is an outrageous police procedural series which follows an unorthodox crack team of cops working on the frontline. The award-winning drama returns for a second series of rollercoaster cases to be cracked by the brilliant, but dysfunctional crime fighting family of coppers.
As expected with any dynamic crime-fighting squad, incidents and accidents do frequently happen leaving the crime-fighters (and sometimes the criminals!) in need of medical attention. Helping to ensure these storylines were as authentic as possible, Medical Hire were appointed as the medical props provider.
Filming of series 2 took place on location in a variety of different areas of Manchester with hospital scenes filmed at abandoned and disused hospitals. Throughout the filming schedule, the Medical Hire team provided a range of medical equipment to furnish the hospital sets and a variety of medical props to help the cast to portray the scenes as realistically as possible.
Filming on-location meant the programme-creators were on an incredibly tight production schedule. With a highly professional and flexible delivery service, Medical Hire were able to deliver and set-up the medical equipment required for each episode to a precise timetable, helping to ensure the filming schedule remained on track.
No Offence can be seen on Channel 4 on Wednesday evenings at 9pm.
